About Me

Dr Hannah Shimko is a public and government relations specialist with years of experience designing and delivering influential communications. She is currently Comms and Policy Director at the Online Dating Association, with a growing expertise in digital and technology communications and advocacy.

Her key areas of skills and knowledge are:

She began her career in the creative and cultural sector, working in policy and communications for heritage. She also holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham entitled Re-Imagining the English Country House: The Impact of Film and Television Representations of the English Country House on the Design, Production and Presentation of the ‘Heritage Visitor Experience’.
